DIY scarf turned headwrap/turban
Last night, I was remarking on how funny I found fashion’s recent embrace of the turban, or rather, its many iterations that I’ve used while either washing or wrapping up my hair at night (in times past, clearly). No matter though. I can fully get down with an alternative to having to do my hair in the morning.
And by “do my hair,” I mean wetting it and adding conditioner. It’s more labor intensive than it sounds.

Huh, I was also recently talking about turbans on twitter. I felt like a brown girl wearing a turban would automatically be assumed muslim/middle eastern, and it wouldn’t be a fashion statement anymore. Obviously, I’m wrong. Cause you look great. Perfect tattoo placement too.

LOL. I used to try to avoid the boys that had the rags tied that way…
Psshhh, I was about to say, your hair must take you all of .2 minutes. Cry me a goddamned river. I love turbans w/ short hair. I try to rock them too, but somehow it isn’t as clean looking when you’ve got a bunch of hair hanging down your shoulders.
