…throwback…
(Confessions)June 10 2010
Lisa Frank bookmarks from circa 1991. Whatchu know about that?

I found these tucked away in a copy of Suze Orman’s Money Book for the Young, Fabulous and Broke. I have no idea why or how they got there.
One day, I’ll have to have a mini scavenger hunt for all the souveniers of my life in the early 1990′s. I’ll report back. I’m sure it will be hilarious.

And speaking of hilarious, have you entered the contest below? A DRKGMTRY necklace is up for grabs and it’s super easy to enter. You have until Sunday, so get on it!

Whoa! That is a throwback! I have the gumball machine one…and I still actually use it on occasion, lol
Now the question is…do you have the trapper keeper to go with them, haha??

I had it. For years. Blue with the jungle print on the front. It got lost in the move back in 2007. Heartbreaking.
*cries*
I love that you’re reading YF&B. Ol’ Suze was a favorite of mine and that was the book I started with.
Also, I meant to mention this on your cat post, but someone really needs to trap-neuter-return that mom cat! It’s not her fault she keeps getting pregnant. She needs to be fixed! Dude cats are attracted to female cats when they’re in heat and half the times they’re essentially forcibly raped – it’s pretty gross.
I think you’re in LA, and you guys have Fix It Nation: http://fixnation.org/
If you’re elsewhere, let me know and I’ll let you know if I can find a local TNR group in your area!

AWESOME! And thank you SO much. I know she can’t help herself and she NEEDS to be spayed.

I need to re-read that book, pronto!
OMG!! I had a ridonkulous Lisa Frank collection back in the day! Stickers, stationary, party favors, coloringbooks, you name it, it was in my treasure chest. The sad thing is, me and my friends never used any of them, because we didn’t want to mess them up…smh
