The lighting is tragic, but I want you guys to see that I do acutally leave my house and backyard. Not often, but sometimes.
Saturday was the day for the Melrow’s maiden voyage. For anyone who is toying with the idea of purchasing them, know that this pair has my full, unpaid endorsement. They’re (hand)made well and are insanely comfortable. I spent from afternoon until nearly midnight in them and had no issues at all. Shocking, SHOCKING, I say!
And what was I doing until nearly midnight, you ask? I was out with my guru and a bunch of LA bloggers eating tacos al pastor and drinking margaritas at Malo in Silverlake! Good times. I mean, tacos are already a good time, but when you put them with a bunch of women and add alcohol, the night becomes exceptional. And, because my guru is awesome like that, she brought her silver Cleopatra earrings for everyone to wear.

God that writing was…I mean, I wasn’t expecting Oscar, but some of it just left me uncomfortable. LOL.
Malo is decent. Tacos good, drinks could use a bit of work, but I was satisfied. And you know how I love my tacos. LOL.
I saw those shoes close up and they are HAWT.
