I love the original. Mostly ’cause Grace Jones’ skin looks amazing. Amber whatever is eh, to me. Maybe if she had done it against a Black background. It would have provided some contrast. Or sumhumh…
Meh. I’m not big on this “let’s re-create iconic photoshoots with
quasi-famous people instead of coming up with our own ideas” trend.

as John Lennon and Yoko Ono, everyone and their mama recreating
the “A Great Day in Harlem” group photo.
It’s one thing to riff on an idea, another to just wholesale steal it
without adding or saying anything new.

also, when typing in comments section, it runs off the screen for a bit…just a note. love the new layout. very clean and fresh (like the spring that will never see new york).
oh, and i plan to take swimming lessons. figured the world may come to an end and i’ll need to swim. i’m just so damn terrified!

Grace Jones is the bee’s knees and I’m still kicking myself for not seeing her at the bowl last year.
Amber Rose will never touch her, but she is a gorgeous + fun woman in her own right.
