…Tuesday Tays… (Superfresh)

I was genuinely excited to see someone (else) I recognized being profiled.  After hearing Karen talk about him on her blog a few times, I was always interested in what Tay Trong was all about. 

One word. 

DOPENESS.

After watching this video, I’m more than moved to attach zippers to all manner of clothing in interesting and exciting new ways.  W00t for even more DIY prospects. 

This Tay is not to be confused with Tay Zonday, whose hit single “Chocolate Rain” is worthy of its own acclaim.   I’m waiting on him to get some serious radio play in the 2010.  Or not. 

GET INTO IT

You can’t tell me that this isn’t MJ’s and Diana Rossy’s (yes, Rossy’s) love child.  You just can’t.

    He is amazing. Wow, so inspiring. And I love that zipper pull bracelet, and the random studs, and ridiculous placement of zippers everywhere. So so cool.

    agreed. i always thought he looked like a love child of those two.
    airplay=doubtful, unfortunately. but he does have a ringtone i believe with verizon. at least he’s getting SOME kinda (financial) recognition.

    Pretty blown away by him. You can really tell that he treasures his clothes- he doesn’t just buy things to buy things. He sees value in everything and he has a clear point of view on fashion. It’s amazing he’s only had 3 pairs of shoes in his life, but it’s interesting when it comes down to it because the right shoes can last you so long. Never really thought about that. There’s a life lesson in there somewhere about getting by with the shoes on your feet. Thanks for sharing- love Style Like U but I haven’t gone on there in a little while!
