…she’s never satisfied… (In The Streets, moment of vanity)
My darling dear readers,
I apologize.
I know I’ve subjected you to countless facelifts, changing banners, tweaked urls, thematic theatrics, and random headers with corresponding post titles. This must be a lot to deal with. Ugh.
The truth is, I get bored. I get bored VERY easily. I crave change constantly and I kinda need you to just roll with it. If you do, I’ll try my hardest to keep you mildly entertained for the 54 seconds you spend here. Deal? Cool.
I always find it funny how a blazer and a pair of pumps can make a t-shirt and jeans seem so much more than…a t-shirt and jeans.
I put this dookie chain together last night after seeing Geri’s gold version the night before at the vintage swap party she co-hosted with stylist Monica Rose and Alexi of I’m Boy Crazy. Racks of clothing for (almost) free, a cool crowd, cooler photogs, ambient DJ music and free alcohol made for a pretty freakin’ sweet night.

I ended up with some pretty cool things, the most important being a purse that looks like a purse and not a grocery shopper in turquoise pleather. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.

*I found out that the garment I thought was called a kimono is a actually a haori. I probably should have known better because kimono aren’t this short and generally function similarly to wrap dresses. This is a jacket.
We (I and Mocha, specifically) like to be sartorially and culturally accurate while giving you generally useless information that you can impress your friends with. GO FORTH AND INFORM THEM!

I understand the constant need for change. I used to be like that with my hair; it’s a near miracle that I’ve had the purple and red for…holy crap…almost five months! But at least your site redesigns always look good

First off, let me tell you that I’m lovin’ the pumps. Be glad I’m on the East coast cause otherwise, you might get jacked for them. Lol.
