Nov 03instant vintage : 11.2009 : MOV 004: Lace & Breastplates (moment of vanity)
The hallmarks of today’s outfit were a too-short dress saved only by a pair of questionable tights and/or a lace-ish blazer and a huge breastplate of a necklace that I pieced together from an array of vintage necklaces. Somehow it all worked. At least I think it did…depends on whether or not HR saw and deemed me to be inappropriate. Meh.
It only looks like it weighs 10lbs. It doesn’t.

You look gorgeous. I love how this is a monochrome outfit (or, it looks like it on my screen – I can’t tell if the skirt/dress is dark blue or gray) but doesn’t look boring at all because of all the textures, the shoes, and the necklace.
