Confession 002: 7 Things (Confessions)
The lovely Michelle of Cookies & Creme Vintage awarded me these two gems and simultaneously tasked me with sharing 7 interesting things about myself.
Interesting, eh? Ok, here goes nothing:
#1 – I’m one of those freaks of nature that HATES tomato but LOVES ketchup. Seriously. I’ll gag if I taste a raw tomato or tomato seed in anything. And I can taste them…individually. It’s a curse. Ketchup I’ll put on almost anything. In a similar vein, I can’t really eat fresh fruit or drink fresh pressed fruit juice…unless it’s lemon juice contained in a whiskey sour. Seriously. I’m allergic.
#2 – I have a birthmark on my calf that’s shaped like a post-apocalyptic Hawaii. I don’t know why I’ve always been proud of this because I had absolutely nothing to do with it. I just think it looks cool.
#3 - I used to know (and probably still know) the movies Aladdin and The Lion King verbatim. Songs included.
#4 – I have a mental soundtrack and have been known to dance to it during fairly inappropriate times. Sure, no one else can hear the music and I usually garner strange looks, but that’s fine with me. I also have a tendency to sing people’s names, phrases, or entire sentences. I can’t sing very well, but that doesn’t seem to stop me.
#5 - I can eat an entire pack of Oreo cookies in one sitting. I actually have…several times. The interesting thing here is that I managed to not get sick afterward.
#6 - I spent my first two weeks after college graduation in my room playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on PS2 in a huge wicker chair a la Huey P. Newton. I only went out of my room to eat, use the restroom, and periodically shower. All weight I gained while in college was lost during this period.
#7 – I’m a Toon Head. I love cartoons. I’d rather watch cartoons than real TV. I watch more cartoons than I do real TV. I’m sure you guessed that given all the references on my blog, but it’s pretty bad. Once Aqua Teen Hunger Force decided to come back on at midnight, it’ll get a lot worse.

I understand about the tomatoes and ketchup…..i HATE cheese, but i can eat a whole pizza…don’t ask….
wowsers, it’s like we share a brain! i too prefer cartoons over real television, spent a good several weeks playing my 360 (which is a great man picker upper by the way), LOVE double stuf. have boycotted oreos altogether but am now in possession of a ps3 and the video game binge has begun again. thanks for the tag. will do all answers sooooon.
