Ok, so I have a penchant for overreacting…I think I had a worthy reason this time around.
So far the fire has killed about 190 sq. miles of the forest. This place is very near and dear to me for some reason, so you’ll probably only hear me update on that. People’s homes are one thing (and yes, it’s very, very, very sad), but naturally existing forests in SoCal are an EXTREME RARITY. Those poor, poor trees…

Alright kiddies, I’ve finally decided to go into recession mode. This means a couple of things:
1 – I will not (really) be getting new shit…how dreadful. I mean, the outfit posting has slacked up a lot bit and the idea of being sartorially monotone just doesn’t glaze my doughnut. But I know you guys don’t mind seeing the same ish over again. It’s my razor sharp wit, nonsensical ramblings, and strange cat t-shirt pictures that you come for. Right? Not gonna answer? Probably a good thing. I’ll move on.
2 – I will be stocking my stores like a mad-woman. I’ve figured that making money and not spending money is a good way to start saving money. Makes sense, huh? Well it didn’t to me. I seem to think money falls out of the sky.
Don’t judge me.
Times like these demand for more creativity (?), reassessing what I have, and finding people to barter with. Now that I’ve written that, it seems like a pretty dope idea. Who wants in on this swap action? Tell me. I am SO serious.

And speaking of dreadful, word on the street is that my favorite reality TV show STAR Dwight Eubanks (YES, he is the STAR of the Desperate Housewives of Decatur Real Housewives of Atlanta) is going to be getting his own show. I’m crossing every appendage imaginable in hopes that it will land on Bravo.

Is that enough for today? I could go on, but the orange haze caused by the sunset, smoke, and ash in the air is making for some pretty interesting viewing. And eye watering. I’m off to find allergy meds.

also, so sad about the fires… i know what you are going through, we get them here really bad every year and it’s crazy sad! and so eerie & surreal when the sky is a constant orange glow and ash and burnt leaves are falling from the sky….. scary at moments!

natural disasters are not fun.
i cried for days when hurricane andrew wiped out ALL the banyans and trees here. the ones left had no leaves, and i live in a tropical forest.
kids went to shrinks for years after bc they couldn’t sleep andf would freak out when they hreard a storm coming…
anyway, nature has a way of coming back stronger…
