Because I think you all are the greatest people on the internets, I am hosting another giveaway. w00t!
This time around, it’s for something that I consider to be absolutely indespensible: a pair of really good jeans. Feast your eyes upon the Skinny Slouch jeans in “Loved” by Current/Elliot:
I know; they’re awesome. My favorite silhouette* in a good-for-day-or-night wash with the right amount of slouch. Very downtown chic with a SoCal vibe, right?
Anyway, here are the deets. You have to do two, count ‘em two, things:

Downtown chic encompasses a lot of looks. For me, it’s the slinky, skinny slouch jeans paired with a white racerback tank, a red ling ling, some crispy Jordan 4s and an oversized, bag like the Coach Rhinestone XL Spotlight. And don’t forget the silver hoop earrings and a bad attitude, bad meaning good

I’m ‘bottom-heavy’ too… it makes wearing skinny jeans next to impossible unless they are really good jeans and a good fit.
Downtown chic immediately brings to mind.. DARK DENIM and BLACK.
I would super love to pair these fab jeans with:
A jet black blazer from Dior, a crisp white button-down freshly ironed by the maid.. oh wait, I don’t have one of those… and some fabulous heels.. something red and/or Louboutins. And huuuuge diamond earrings!
Of course I would have to recreate this outfit on a thrift store budget

I would pair these jeans with some brown heeled booties, an Elizabeth and James artists shirt, an evergreen vintage fedora and a nice brown leather messenger bag. The contest is up the day before my 22nd birthday they would be an awesome birthday present!

I would wear these jeans with this superfunky button up I have. It is white with ruffle collar and big puffy sleeves like a Shakesperian shirt with red Polka dot suspenders, cobalt blue pumps, my earring necklace, big blue purse, and my favorite Ray Ban Wayfarer glasses.

I would love to wear these slouchy skinny Current Elliot jeans with a crazy tall pair of gladiator sandals and a vibrantly colored peasant top with chunky bangles and big hoop earrings.

I would pair these jeans with a great loose fitting top to balance of the skinniness of the jeans. I would also rock a great pair of black pumps and a metallic clutch to add some drama to my outfit. I would also wear over sized accessories for some visual interest!

First off, I LOVE these current/elliot jeans. They are amazing. But, if I win these (and I sure hope so!) I would wear them with an over sized tee (probably white) with a black skinny belt. Kind of like a Kain pocket tee. I would accessorize with gold bangles and a pair of fierce pumps. Ah, I can just see it now…

well, for these hot days I’d wear the jeans with a super flowy top to minimize the sweating! since the jeans seem to be fitted, it would make up for it

I have the perfect top for these. It’s loose under the armpits but fitted everywhere else, which makes it a great complement for this cut, and has a pattern of splotches in several dark colors on a white background. It’s off the shoulder with a keyhole design, which means I could dress it up with some great jewelry and some black heels. Hope I win!
Love these jeans! I’d pair them with a top I have that bubbles out a little bit and comes back in at the hip. It’s white with deep green and purple. A good bracelet and some heels would do the trick.
I’d wear these with my loose oversize grey acid wash tee. It’s perfect for the summer, matched with my blue flat strappy sandals, a carry-all, and ray bans.

I would pair this with a simple white top, a black boyfriend blazer, black platform pumps, and a statement necklace. I like keeping my style simple.
It was another crisp morning air in the city, with the usual horn glaring, tires screeching, and people shouting “taxi”. A scent of freshly baked bagels and hot coffee tingles our smell buds, but you can’t stand to long in the pavement because people rushing towards and against you, throwing your body here and there, “Hey, watch out, Buddy!”. Suddenly, they stop, the bikers stop, the taxi drivers roll down their windows, ..for a lady, in skinny slouch jeans, stroll her way downtown. Her hair, long slightly curled brunette dancing behind her towering figure, leaves a trail of mild scent to her gawping onlookers. A light spring camel trench coat wraps her body just perfectly, she rolled her sleeves mid arms, showing her porcelain looking skin beneath…and a white crisp structured shirt underneath. A wide belt compliments her nearly there waist with a pair of nude color ankle heels, she makes a statement indeed! Her manicured fingers grasp tightly to an oversized leather shoulder bag, and the other one hold up high before she lets her dreamy voice out…”taxi!”.
And she just realize that the world stops in her presence.

I’m a modest milley. So, I’d probably sport this with a the teal slightly too short, drop waist dress by Black Halo on chickdowntown.com. These jeans look so sleek that I think they would serve as perfect pants for girls who don’t want to risk showing an extra somethin’ somethin’ when getting out of the car.

1. I would wear the Current/Elliot Skinny Slouch jeans with a Naomi white tank top from Abercrombie and Fitch and a black blazer from Aqua. I would fold the sleeves of the blazer up to my elbows and put on a pair of black Steve Madden Trinitie Pumps. I would also carry my white Marc by Marc Jacob bag.

Hell yes! I’m pear-shaped, but ain’t nothing stopping me from squeezing into skinnies like these. Especially dark hued denims. Enter me in the contest, please! How would I style these? For summer, with a light, white jersey Ann-Demeulemeester inspired scarf wrap top (maybe a tank or sleeveless), with a pair of flat impossibly strappy sandals (in bronze or a nude color) and paired with an armful of bronze bangles or long dangly crazy tacky earrings.
