Since I am not above swagger jacking and I woke up feeling like a hot pile of garbage this morning, I donned a hoodie topped with a bowler hat.  And piled on the bracelets; lots and lots of bracelets.  And two snakelets for good measure.  And the vintage Poran kunckle ring.  My arm weighed 50 pounds.

I won this destroyed hoodie in a sales competition back when I worked at Metropark (they have a SUPERSICK blog, btw).  It’s been through the wringer.  I love it.

I won’t bore you with the details of my shiteous day, but I will say that I (sort of) made good on a promise in an earlier post.  These endlessly cool George Cox buckle boots are now mine.  I fully blame Krystal for alerting me to the fact that there is a stockist (of this and many other UK brands) about 5 minutes from where I work…and we all know how a bad day at work equates to a shoe purchase…Ahhhh, it’s love.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to figure out what to sell to justify why I paid $ (insert insane amount here and it will probably still be too low) for these…because they’re George Cox and not Underground although the store carries both brands where only the original one version of this shoe was available… BUUUUUUUUUT I’m a sucker for not having to pay overseas shipping, so I can’t be too outraged.

What do I sell?

So after a six month sabbatical, I logged on to facebook and realized that having 107 friend requests and 349 unread messages probably wasn’t a good thing.  No hyperbole on those numbers.  It was insane.

I just finished sifting and clicking and deleting and chatting, and in the process, created a page for Instant Vintage (the store).  If you’re on it, fan me!!!  Why?  Because if I’m ever overcome with the urge to say…host a giveaway or secret sale, you’ll be one of the first to know (my loyalty lies with Twitter).

I tried to do the blog network thing, but I’m way too rusty on facebooking to know what the hell is going on there.  I managed to figure out the blog network thing, too.  I’m lonely in there.  Join me!

Now, dudeguy and I aren’t big on drinking, but we (emphatic HE) like to entertain people with the best of the best in potent potables.  You won’t find one mixer, anything that contains high fructose, or Bacardi/Patron/Grey Goose here…if you do, it’s purely for show and to be chuffed at.  Fresh fruit juices, real sugar, and damn good spirits…oh yeah.

You should come by sometime.  =D
