I’ve noticed a black, white, and grey theme on here as of late, so I thought I’d switch it up today. I also decided to wear the ostrich feather necklace because my hair was doing that cockatoo thing it likes to do:

This is the jacket I mentioned in this post. I almost didn’t buy it, but dudeguy egged me on. Most of my overspending during thrifting adventures is completely his fault. That’s my story and I stand by it.
Now when vintage shopping, any and all spending is completely my own fault. Today, I found myself aimlessly browsing in the much-mentioned-on-L.A.-blogger’s-blogs American Vintage. It seems that I have a magnetic draw to rompers because I found an incredibly cute (and dare I say, chic?) one that happened to fit and had pockets(!!!!!). That trifecta usually means the romper comes home with me. But, BUT, that was not the exciting part. The exciting part came in the form of a vintage kimono.
Yes, a kimono.
After hearing The Glamourai wax poetic about her collection, I’ve been feeling inclined to try one on. The fact that I just organically ran into a grey one this afternoon is actually blowing my mind a bit. Funny how stuff like that happens, eh? Methinks I’ll give it a whirl this week.
