I just scraped the tip off of my right bebe walking up stairs at work because there is SANDPAPER trimming the top step.

WTF? Really? Sandpaper? For real? SERIOUSLY?

I’m so mad right now.  So mad.  Mad enough to color the greyed tip with a damn sharpie to make it blend in better.  Ugh.  If this is an indication of the week to come, I want no part of it. Never, not, none.

In keeping with the time-honored tradition of reappropriation, I made use of casual Friday by throwing on a couple of shirts and my Docs and going to work.  I look dreadfully early 90′s no?  I think I may have actually worn this in 4th grade.  Hmm…

How I get away with having this stuff on at the yob (yes, YOB) is a mystery to me.  Oh well…keep the party going.

This series pretty much sums up the progression of my mood today.  I need a drink.

I scored this lovely little blouse from a hole in the wall antique shop for $4.  Yay me. 

I really wish I had more to say, but I don’t.  I missed out on Lost last night, and I have to play catch up, go scouting the intertubes, and playing on ARGs.  Yes, I’m a little overly-involved in the show.  Don’t judge me.

But, I love seeing the family together; especially those people that I don’t get to see often. 

Today was the day…I have to say, my sister and I did very well.  We usually need each other to “man up” in these types of situations.  Thankfully, about 60 Jamaicans, good food, and a whole lotta Red Stripe made the festivities afterward outweigh…well…you know. 

I fancied myself to be quite the photographer today.  No, I didn’t ask for permission to use these, so don’t tell anyone I did this.  Especially my mom.  She’d kill me.  For real. 

Ooooh, I wanna take a photography class…

• It’s really f’in cold and rainy
• I really, really, really, really want these and people are telling me not to get them – jerks
•  No Buy Month is out the window as I have now been commanded to be in NY next month for the weekend
• This has got to be the best site ever – FUN SOCKS!!!
• I haven’t been following NYFW too closely, but DAMN if Tracy Reese didn’t reinforce my undying love for her. 

Now that the list of stuff that crossed my mind in the last hour is over, grey asked about my skincare routine (thanks for the comply, btw  =) ).  It’s a mouthful, so prepare yourself:

In the mornings, I use Cetaphil to wash and unrefined shea butter as a moisturizer.  If I have time and when the shea is absorbed, I use Sheer Cover mineral foundation with Nars Orgasm blush.   If it’s going to take more than three minutes to do, I skip it.  At night, I use Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle/Anti-Blemish and Cetaphil to wash and Vitamin E Oil (get it at Trader Joe’s – TRUST ME) to moisturize.  Every now and again, I’ll remember to use a scrub to exfoliate and if it gets bad, I use Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask.  I’m prone to scarring (SUCKS MAJORLY), so I use Carol’s Daughter Scar Butter to clear up any hyperpigmentation.  It works like a charm.  Really.
