I can’t get enough of this blazer and would wear it everyday.  Really.

I’ve decided that I need to get better organized and to more effectively manage my time.  I used to be so good at these, but too much has been slipping though the cracks as of late.  SOOO much to be done and no time to do it in…hmmmm.  GT, I’m looking at you.

UPDATE: This is the absolute cheapest I’ve seen them, and I’m still sad.  Once I hit major depression, then I’ll think about blowing the $450 on a Buy It Now.  LOL.

I guess our mid-winter heat wave is coming to an end.  It’s most bittersweet; I’m always sad to see warmer weather pass, but this gives me the opportunity to wear the most oversized of sweaters.

I’m feeling a little frazzled today.  There’s so much I’ve been putting off with all of the running around I’ve been having to do lately.  Tonight, my hope is to complete a few tasks in dire need of completion and finally clearing off my desk.  My mind is never right when my desk isn’t clear.

Is anyone else experiencing some sort of stress/burnout?  How do you deal?  I think I need to learn to meditate…or take up yoga again.  There’s just no time to do it.

*sigh*

In all honesty, I was never really caught up in Obama-fever.  Today, I almost shed a tear while he delivered his first address as president.

Two hours later, I yelled out “THE PRESIDENT IS BLACK!” while tossing the pile of papers in front of me into the air.

I wonder why my co-workers think I’m so strange.  Hmmmm.

I wish I had a better picture so you could appreciate the awesomeness of dudeguy’s shirt – it’s a Twenty Flight Rockers shirt that has been WELL worn in.  It’s so faded and  tattered.  On the back, it reads “Hard as Harley, Tough as Triumph.”

When I put it on, he said “You’re not punk rock enough to wear that shirt.”

My simple reply was “Fuck You.”

Ok, so I just went over all of my posts since…ever and I need to make change. Somehow, I don’t dig the blog the way I used to…

I don’t know when exactly, but expect to see a change soon. =)

Oh, and Lady is doing better. I wish I could give you a synopsis, but that would require a long story about how I wanted to choke/maim/do grevious bodily harm to a few nurses and a respiratory therapist, slap a medical doctor, forge a Xanax perscription for my mother, and praise my cousin (also an RT) for getting in everyone’s ass on the way. Gawd, I love her. LOL.

As for the birthday, dinner with friends, the Jet Rag $1 sale, a freaking sweet lunchbox (pictures later), new shoes, and bowling at Lucky Strike @ L.A. Live made for a pretty nice weekend.  Thanks again for all the bday wishes.  =)

And lastly, I really want this sweater in my life.  Like, REALLY.

I’ve been negligent…sorry.  In my defense, there has been a whole lot going on this week.  I’ll be back to more regular posts/exploits/ruminating, so don’t forget about me.  =)

I’m a little behind, I know.

Lady’s situation isn’t looking too good.  Actually, what I thought was progress was actually extreme regression.  She’s too far gone for the denial phase to start, so I’m going to have to push past it all the way to acceptance.  Thankfully, the lovely Chauss has taught me well over these last few months.  The universe will provide and I must trust in it to do so.

I hope you guys are having a great week.  Hug someone you love and tell them how you feel about them.  They will probably appreciate it more than you know.
