I’ve finally come to the conclusion that I really need to stop using my credit cards so I can work on paying off my $43K in student loans.  Today was the day that I got all of my card balances to $0.00, so I’l feeling really good about that.  Step one, complete.

Now if I can keep from using them, I’ll be in good shape.  Good luck with that one.  Although I did make a couple of purchases today (a black layering cardigan thing, navy nail polish and some flat boots), I used “cash.”  Keeping up with this method is going to be an…interesting…task, but I think I can do it.

Ok, so I’m hella excited that it’s the weekend.  This week was taking forever to pass and I was in no mood to do much of anything.  Perhaps a concert tonight will lift my spirits.  Dudeguy and I don’t really get to hang out until the weekend and some of his favorite punk bands are playing, so this should turn out well if we happen to go.  YAY!

…from the office Christmas party.  I was drinking wine and I ate a lot of cream puffs, so please excuse me if I don’t make much sense.

Today was warmer and it didn’t rain.  Thank goodness.  Rain is boring.  So very boring.  I still played it safe ans wore my leather jacket…just in case.

Most of today was spent between YouTube, Twitter and Bloglovin.  I don’t know why, but I felt off and in no mood to do actual work.  Well, moreso than usual.  I think I need to get more sleep.  I’ll be lucky if that actually happens. 

Tre, it’s colder than normal (low 50’s in  the daytime)…which really isn’t that cold by comparison to everyone else in the US.  However, I will say that loads of snowfall have prevented many a person from being able to go home tonight. 

Scary.

Luckily enough, I had a steady chocolate supply and was informed of what my Christmas bonus was going to be.  That practically made my day.  No, it did make my day.  Maybe I’ll actually go out and get those shoes…

I’m on a spending freeze (THE HORROR), so I can’t buy them.  If anyone out there does, please get them in an 8 so I can periodically jack you for them.  Pleaseandthankyou.

It was cold and rainy today.  Sub-60 cold and rainy.  Anyone outside of SoCal may find this complaint a bit unnerving/inane/naive, but if you’re a born and bred local, this type of cold is nearly intolerable.  Wasn’t it like 80 two weeks ago?

I know I begged for layer worthy weather a while back, but I feel so constricted getting dressed in the morning. I know I have to wear a pair of boots, jeans and a sweater for the sheer purpose of not catching puenemonia.  Where is the fun in that?  Eh?  Eh?  There is absolutely no motivation for me to even think about what I would wear with these shoes that I’m eyeing that look like the lovechid of a Margiela sandal/boot and an art  nouveau bird cage.  Shut up, Jaz. 

Rain sucks.

I’m going to be really good friends with  this camera. 

So last night was an evening filled with friends, food, a whole lot of wine, and shit talking.  I love my friends.  We’re such a fun bunch.  I can’t tell you the jist of the conversations for several reasons, but I will say that there’s always one more thing to learn…

This is what I wore: simple black top with a black cardy, that skirt I made, my ‘doily’ tights as Jaz so named them, and those Guess shoes I can’t get enough of.  

If only I could get studio lighting…

I’m still experimenting with my new toy, so we’ll see how this new season of photos turns out.
